After our visit, we’ll provide a detailed written quote outlining our drafting and design services, including any additional consultant or council costs, so you can move forward with confidence.

A site survey, completed by a licensed land surveyor, gives us the topography, boundaries, and site features of your property.
If you’re planning a renovation or extension, we’ll also conduct an on-site building measure to capture your existing structure accurately. This step ensures your drafting plans are technically correct and ready for development.

4. Planning Permit Application (If Required)
Some projects require a town planning permit before building can commence.
We’ll advise early in the process if your site or zoning requires this and can coordinate the entire planning application on your behalf.

5. Working Drawings
Once your concept is approved, we prepare detailed working drawings—the technical blueprint for construction. These include:
- Site plan
- Detailed floor plan with dimensions
- Construction details and slab/flooring plans
- Window, door and lighting plans
- Elevations and 3D views
Input is required from an engineer and energy rater to ensure compliance with the National Construction Code and 7-Star Energy Rating requirements.
We’ll coordinate these services, obtain quotes, and ensure your building design documentation is ready for your building permit application.
